Bobby Knight question

I remember hearing Bobby Knight say that he has one regret (before the 880th career win interview where he talked about other regrets) and I think it involved his speech where he said "When my time has come and pass I hope they bury me upside down so my critics can kiss __ ____" but he regretted that because it took place on a night that they were honoring someone and it took attention away from him.

In all that babbling I'm trying to figure out why he regretted that speech. What was the special night?

NO....I dont think so at least...I think they were honoring a former player or someone that meant a lot to him or was retarded or something and he was ashamed he took the attention away from him

It was IU Senior night. A classic and sacred tradition at IU. Makes you tingle. I don't have the year off the top of my head but I am assuming mid to late 80s
