The team that beat us in an exhibition this season and is coached by Ron Lievensy, who was on the "long list" of candidates for the LU job is playing in the D2 championship game right now. Down by 2 early.

Real good coach. Strong track record as a winner( that thought seems to have escaped most AD's on the D-1 level). Winning doesn't seem to be an atribute of most of your potential candidates.

If I was the guy that hit the lay up, I would have just kept running into the locker room. That would have been so Cool.. (Then come out in about 3 minutes to celebrate!!!)

Turned it on with 5 minutes to play. Great ending. Caught my eye becuase I knew we played them.

The Winona State team has to feel like they just had their trousers stolen off them while they watched helplessly. Unbelievable! That Barton kid had the minute of a lifetime.

Sounds like a great finish but I think UNC had a greater finish in the 70s againist Duke. Down by 8 with 15 seconds to go, they either tied to go in OT or won straight out if my memory serves me correctly
