Bracket Etiquette

I can't stand that guy that does absolutely horribe on his bracket because he picks like every upset possible, and then when one of them enevitably does come to fruition, he thinks he's some kind of college basketball god. "I called that!" Well good for you, too bad that doesnt count as 5 games because that's what it would take for you to be remotely close to me in the standings

Good point LUconn. I call that a losing attitude. Its like when I beat my friends in PS2 virtually every time we play and then one of them squeaks out 2 wins in a row so they call me up at work to tease me. I'm like, man, you are not seeing the big picture.

Its sort of like taking VCU and then parading it all over a message board.

hey, I've had this avatar since like last week. I thought it was clear that they were my adopted team this year.

Im pleasantly surprised with how Im doing. Not exactly something to trumpet to the whole world but Im liking the lack of upsets this year. Im actually 2 points out of the lead in one of my pools on Facebook even with some of the bad picks I had yesterday

what most bracket pickers dont realize is, that's every year. Unless you really are very confident that one team can beat another, go with the higher seed. Unless in 8/9 and 7/10 games. Those can go either way so you might as well guess.

That's true. I missed 2 of the 7/10 matchups (Gonzaga/Indiana and Texas Tech/BC) I pick those up and Im right near the top of the standings (and thank you Butler for getting hot and ruining my bracket as well)

I don't have any excuses for my bracket this year. I mean, I'm not normally stellar, but I'm not normally this awful either. It's ugly.

I went out on a limb this year and got into an ESPN group with 30 or 35 kids I teach. I am getting smoked by a few of them and I am hearing about it already!
