Come on, I'm a diehard Duke fan but Kyle Singler, Taylor King and Nelson Smith aren't going to throw Duke over the hump. Until Duke gets some athleticism on the wing, ie; the point gaurd position, they can't play the type of defense they want to play which means to a turtle-paced offense. There is no reason Maynor should dice Duke's D like that, NONE.

Unless Paulus has a Redick type gain in defense over the off-season, Duke is no better next year than it is now.

I hate Duke...even though I had them winning this game and losing in the second round I am ok with them going out in the first round...now if UNC would go ahead and just leave too I would be happy...I hate Duke/UNC so very much, and this board has only reinforced my hatred for these schools that much more

losin mcroberts (hopefully), picking up 3 supposedly good players (i mean, all these guys are supposed to be great. 6 mcdonalds all americans
