Portland State in the Big Sky conference has just hired Jerry Glanville as their new football coach. He replaces Tim Walsh who took an assistant position with Stan Brock at Army. Many of you may remember Glanville as the former head coach of the Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons or, later, as an NFL analyst. For the last 2 years, Glanville has been the Defensive Coordinator for June Jones at Hawai'i.

It seems odd that he'd take that job when blew off the opportunity at Rice a year ago.

I guess the King will have a pair of tix left for him each week in the Great NW now.
