interesting reading over there (if you have an hour or so.)
1. they feel they will be better than ever this season
2. they expect a national championship in the next 5 years
3. they have a great incoming/recruiting class
looking forward to our game again this year.

they feel a lot of things over there.
I think they're even more dillusional than we are. Unless they've got a top 10 recruiting class (which includes FBS schools) I don't see how they'd replace all of that experience.

They'll finish second in conference and will be a good team. The talent they've had on the sidelines is pretty good. The beginning of the season may be rough, but they're not in bad shape.

CCU's still got enough talent and experience to keep themselves in any game on their schedule, particularly in-conference. Consider also that next year is likely going to be a down year for CSU and VMI. G-W should be better but they've just replaced half of their offensive coaching staff and they'll be travelling to Conway so, who knows there? CCU isn't going to be as good in '07 but, if we don't take care of business on our end, they'll still win the conference.

I can't imagine any big south team winning a championship in the next 5 years...granted CCU has done very well for themselves...but a national championship?? come on...

I'm a pretty strong kool-aid drinker myself, so I can't say much.
I'm sitting here hoping for FBS someday soon!
they do shoot high over there for such a young program- I've often wondered how they'll deal with a decade or so of losing. We can give them plenty of stories about how THAT feels.

I would like to forget how that feels.
