Should this coach be fired?

This coach...
...pretty much has total control of the team...
...brought in great talent...
...said talent has proven they cannot play together as a team...
...ran off other coaches that are pretty high regarded...
...basically ruined a team with turnover, dissension, and fan unrest.

Isiah Thomas must go!

Any other NBA fans out there?

zeke is a joke....he is a horrible coach, and is a horrible player personnel director as well. he has done nothing but destroy the knicks!

of course he should be fired, not because of his coaching (though its not so great), but because he is responsible for putting together that mess of a team...I don't think it would matter who was coaching those guys, they would still lose...its just a terrible combination of players

What amazes me...
...is that is has been in 4+ years' time...
...and the owner has, 'til now, backed him.

At least he is in his contract year...
...and that this is hopefully the final year of Zeke. If he cannot make the playoffs in the East this year, he deserves to be canned.

I thought this was going to be in reference to Coach Dunton!

You guys are pathetic...
...we can't even have a serious NBA discussion without Coach Dunton's name popping up.

Anyway, Zeke is a terrible coach.....the whole thing with the fight between Denver and New York, I blame on him. He was telling Carmelo not to go to the lane......he is such a bum

As a HUGE Piston's fan in the 80s and 90's (When I Actually watched the NBA) I always HATED Zeke. He seemed so "fake" (I trait perfected by MJ in later years) I LOVED Lambeer, Dumars, AD (when they had him) Buddha! I hated the power play hemaed to trade Dantley to Dallas for Aguirre. THAT is when I didn't like him and I still don't. I can't wait for him to fall on his face.....AGAIN. Wonder who he will blame this fiasco on?

I hate to bring the Phil Jackson argument into it, but Larry does have the rings.

Zeke's excuse up to know has been "well, I'm not coaching these guys." Well, now he is and they may be worse than they've ever been. They have a bunch of guys that need to dominate the ball to make an impact. What blows my mind is how David Lee is still coming off the bench. He's probably the hardest working guy in the East.

Oh Iliked him fine enough. He took one dimensional play to a whole new level. He was GREAT. But I just liked the other guys better. I believe it was Gerald Henderson who made one of their championship runs AFTER he had retired after a long career and was working as an auto mechanic. Great Story. (Not to be confused with Mark Eaton, who was "discovered" by..forgot Utah's coach name, Frank Layden,?, fat guy whose son was Knicks GM for awhile,..... working on his car)
