Old Dominion & George Welsh

Any thoughts on what happens at ODU now that George Welsh has been charged with a DUI? He's been heading up the development of the football program there and, at last check, they were supposed to name a head coach sometime this month. There had been some speculation that the named coach was going to be Welsh himself but I guess that's not happening now. I haven't heard anything more about the topic and even AGS is quiet on the matter. Anybody else?

Drunk Driving
In January 2007, Welsh was spotted driving erratically on the U.S. 250 bypass near Charlottesville. He was given a field sobriety test, charged with DUI, and arrested. He also was charged with refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

so the old guy had one too many....seriously, im glad he did not hurt anyone, and i doubt this will affect him with helping in the development of ODU's program. i seriously doubt he would coach though. this man is a college football hall of fame coach, and one mistake in his lifetime, should not hurt him.
