tonites' rant (in the middle of a OSU mini-run) was about Nick Saban being "poison" to coaches now, and how Dickie doesn't like him 'cuz he lied about "NOT GOING TO ALABAMA" and now he makes all coaches look bad

the real question is, who makes coaches look WORSE: DickiV, Saban, or Lou "I may actually be dead and don't know it" Holtz?

Nick Saban....but that could be because I am a Dolphins fan...he isn't the first coach to do this and he won't be the last I just wish coaches would learn to never say never....it works out much better that way for everybody

I disagree........

1. McRoberts is the mosy overrated
2. Paulus is on a close second with Hansbrough......


Hansbrough is just tough and finishes around the basket.......that's about it

the only ones who think paulus is great is espn and coach K, and i think he's figuring it out cause paulus didn't start.
i agree that mcroberts is overrated. talk of him going to the nba is absurd. i would put demark nelson over him any day

Hansborough may be a tad overrated but he is an outstanding college basketball player. I remember watching him last season thinking, "I've never seen someone work this hard in the post." The guy's a real scrapper who also has the ability to run the floor and bang with the big post players. IMOP he is much better than McRoberts. The real player to watch in the future for Duke is this kid Scheyer (sp). He scored 20 points in a minute or two during his senior season of HS. He hit several threes and nailed his foul shots. One of the most incredible performances I've ever seen.

Also, I really like Dick Vitale Enthusiasm is underrated. Most announcers are boring and Dicky V is definitely not that. His infatuation with Duke particularly and Coach K does make me sick sometimes.

The name for all the NCAA to worry about in a Dook uniform is Kyle Singler......possibly the best scorer to ever step on Dook's campus....he couldn't go to UNC, they had no scholarships available for next season

Won't lose anybody? Maybe they're not scheduled to. My predictions:
1. Pocious transfers because he's good but he doesnt get any PT
2. McRoberts goes pro no matter how well he isn't playing. I don't think he planned on staying more than 2 years. Although he may be smart and realize that Hansboro and Oden will push him down. But I'll go out on a limb and say he jumps.
3. Paulus transfers to Syracuse and plays football. The guy was obviously way overhyped/overrated. He was the #1 QB in HS and has no future in roundball. He's a TO machine and is gradually being phased out of the PG spot.

pocius will probably transfer.. but that doesnt matter. he doesn't play so that wont hurt duke. if mcroberts go pro he's an idiot because he will go really low in the first round if he makes the first round. i don't think paulus will transfer, he made the decision to play college bball at duke, and he gets a lot of PT. the only reason he would transfer is if he wasn't getting PT. he may not be a great point guard, but i think he could be better utilized as a 2 guard.
anyway, i don't think he'll transfer
