Calvin Johnson announced today that he will enter NFL draft.
6'5" 235lbs. He sure has great size and can run a 4.4 40yd. dash.
He has a lot of potential and will probably go high in the draft.

He will probably go in the top 5. No doubt, a stud at WR. Many think either Johnson or Jarrett from USC are the best WR's. IMO, Johnson wins that battle in a landslide.

if johnson had a QB in his years in atlanta, we could have had a lot better numbers, but a stud indeed. both jarrett and johnson are great players.

I can tell you that some draft analysts I've had contact rate him the most talented player in the draft. But most franchises don't wantt o pick a receiver with a Top-5 pick. Just ask the Lions how that's worked out for them.

Roy Williams............

Johnson is unbelievable.

I would take him number 1, unless number 1 was Oakland.....it would suck for Johnson to go there

Who would you rather have? Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson?

I'd have to go with Fitzgerald because he's already proved himself in the NFL while playing for the Cardinals (5-11). With 24 td's and 3k+ rec. yards and he's not much smaller than Johnson at 6'3" and 226. Although his numbers were alot more impressive in 2005 than 2006.

I'd like to make this the thread where I eat some crow as long as we're talking about drafting. I thought Vince Young would be a disaster. He has turned out to be pretty darn good so far.

vince young still has a long way to go though....he was effecient but he doesn't not throw the ball downfield all that well

Vince Young definitely finished the season strong this year and has alot of potential. Now if the Titans could get some players around him the sky's the limit. His play during the second half of the season reminded me of a young McNabb. I wish Reid would let McNabb run the ball every now and then.
