this read really proves the magazine knows nothing of sports. i have been to joe louis, shea, and mellon and they are truly a dump, but cameron?? come on..though it's old the atmosphere is awesome.

yeah, I haven't had the opportunity to go to any game bigger then the Duke Maryland game...but that place was electric...hopefully Duke UNC this year  doubtful though

I didn't read that article so I don't know what the criteria was but if they are going by the facility alone, cameron really is a dump. I was there just for a volleyball game when we were in the tournament like 4 or 5 years ago. Not only was it old but it didn't seem all that well kept. The seating sucked and it was impossible to find a bathroom. I'm sure the basketball atmosphere is good though.

i agree with all of those places...

i've been to joe louis (98 stanley cup), melon, and fenway....all the facilities were terrible...

I was there for that as well...but keep in mind, that place was pretty empty for that game...when it's jam packed with no room it changes the whole look of it

Cameron Indoor may not be visually-stunning but the atmosphere is second to none in college basketball.
