Smoothie doesn't think so. While if UVa wanted to keep things in-house, he would make a great deal of sense. But I don't get the feeling that Ritchie wants to go anywhere or that UVa would view him as a top prospect for the job.

I don't like boo hoo basketball, but they might want to go more up tempo, and score more than 50 points a game.

I doubt Ritchie will be choice #1 but you never know. He is highly respected at UVA.

I watched the press conference this morning from my outpost in Alabama. I admire Coach Bennett for speaking out on the state of college sports, these days. No longer can a coach recruit high school kids, coach them up, and win. NIL and portal has destroyed NCAA, and powers to be at NCAA headquarters are too stupid and money hungry to realize what they're doing.
I know of another coach who said, "if I have to manage a payroll for my roster, I'm quitting"
