Let the record show that ESPN+ is a separate entity from the ESPN linear channels. A subscription to ESPN+ does not any way grant access to those streams (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU).

It's confusing to customers just wanting access to the channels they're paying for. Before ESPN pulled the plug, I got ESPN linear channels and ESPN+ on my ESPN app. And then I also had ESPN linear channels on my Spectrum app. I pay for both apps.

I'm hoping Disney sells ESPN to either Apple or Amazon. Disney is a basket case these days. They just got hit with another big down grade today.

When I recently moved to Texas I switched from hulu+ live tv to spectrum since it was cheaper bundling tv with my internet. Initially I got all of the sports channels I wanted but I just noticed they randomly also took away BTN and MLB network from my package around the same time disney pulled espn which was the final straw. I've been trying to cancel and switch back to hulu but everytime I call I get an automated "due to high volumes of calls related to the Walt Disney situation we are unable to take your call right now" before they hang up on me. I'm just glad I missed Illinois getting blown out yesterday.

San Antonio, I presume? You should have a slew of ISP options that you can pair with whichever streaming platform works best for you.

This is being referred to as the last stand for cable. I have a hard time getting sentimental over cable companies.

I wish i was near san antonio, I'm at fort Hood... I mean fort cavazos, at least for now. There are a few ISPs but spectrum is the best one from what I can tell. I'm just going to get internet through them and switch back to hulu + live TV bundled with disney+ and espn+. It's not much different price wise but I'm getting more for my money.

Yup. And if you want access to ESPN be prepared to pay for a slew of channels for which you have no interest.
