Anywhere you go when a game is on, there is a crown watching. Now the discussion has turned to who will be on the Dominican WBC team.

The WBC will be in 2026 (next spring). Teams playing this spring are for the right to represent their country in the 2026 tournament.

The last place team in each pool of the previous tournament (4 in total) gets relegated and has to qualify again while everyone else is already qualified for the next tournament. Taiwan and Nicaragua were the two winners of this qualification pool while the next qualification pool starts in the next week or two. Pool B will be interesting to keep an eye on because Colombia, Brazil and China should all be pretty evenly matched with Germany being underdogs but competitive enough to beat any of them.
