I think I get where Shaka's head is. Probably misses the VCU days where basketball was #1 and wanted that feeling again.

I think he saw the writing in the wall I’d wager a lot of things behind the flare up on the bench at the end of the season.

Shaka was fortunate to get this past season. If not for COVID, he was likely canned last summer.

Yes, Chris Beard is the clear frontrunner in Austin. $4M buyout is chump change if he wants to make the move. I get the Bobby Knight bonifieds having the Hoosier faithful intrigued. But if Beard goes anywhere it will be back to his alma mater in Austin.

Maybe Texas should give Vic Schaefer a look for their men’s job.

He is certainly returning the Lady Horns to their former glory in rather short order.

While Beard is top priority in Austin, the other names I am hearing include Moser and Pitino(!?!).

Woodson to IU. Interesting moves. Don’t love it. Don’t hate it. Ties to IU Glory Days should help recruiting. I’m interested to see his staff. Possibly a coach in waiting situation? Calbert Cheney and Dane Fife were popular names but lack experience. They’d be great additions

I think their system DQ’s Bennett/McKay from consideration at UNC. Heels aren’t interested in winning in the 50’s.

It’s those two and Wes Miller. Hubert seems to be getting more play than Coach Rob. Not sure why.

There is no name "in the family" that is big enough to replace Coach Williams. I think you have to try the Mark Few, Jay Wright, Brad Stevens names first.
