It’s always some chubby dude with good footwork in the post carrying these small conference teams. Myo could have taken us far.

The Pope will not be denied!

Illinois looked awful. They had no answer for the Circa 1950’s Offense and a YMCA All American (Senior Division) center
🤣 Really entertaining game. Krutweig has great hands and great instincts. Loved all of the pick and roll action.

Will be fun to see what happens with LIU and Ohio. Preston and Vander Walt are tough.

Interestingly, my son who is a HS player, made a similar comment. Said we would have won easily with Myo instead of Preston.

And it is quite possible the same could be said by substituting Abii for Myo. Very similar skill set. To be clear, I honestly do not believe that was an option considering how little Abii had been playing, and there is no way I personally am going to question Ritchie's decision to not play him more during the season because of defensive issues. I'm really hoping he will stick around and work through those, because I think he has a great upside.

Just spent the last 48 hours at a sportsbook in Atlantic City watching every dribble. Nothing like March Madness. Monday games tomorrow are going to be weird but I'll adjust accordingly.

Myo was a back to the basket player and bulled his way to the basket at 255 lbs. Abii is a face the basket player, at this point and likes the 3 point shot. He is more suited to play the 4 than the 5, at this point.

It's all fun and games Haize until you're sitting on Texas -8.5 while at a table while the dealer rattles off 3 straight 21's.

Also how about the Big10?! What a wildly unimpressive showing. Just dropping like flies.

Yeah. The B1G should have put SOMEONE in the Final Four. Michigan is their only hope.
The PAC 12 showing up nicely as is the Big 12 other than my Mountaineers How Huggy Bear isn’t in the HoF is a mystery

B10 overrated in every sport.

Does anyone know how many games the lower seed has won as of now, in tournament ?

I keep waiting for someone to beat them...and it hasn’t happened. I’m also waiting for their coach to get tossed case he’s the biggest horses hind end out there

Man, Arkansas got lucky there. Texas Tech had multiple chances to at least tie that game.

All Tournament season Mrs Purple and I have lamented the fact that when teams are going for the las shot inevitably the player dorks around and shoots a 30’ Tonight Texas Tech takes it to the rim and still misses. I’d still rather have a shot going to the bucket or initiated going to the rim then Play Basketball Play Basketball Play Basketball shoot a deep 3

I was surprised they didn't call a timeout when it seemed the play looked to be breaking down. Then he took it strong to the hoop and somehow missed it. Unbelievable.

1 donor paid Archie’s $10 million buy out Another donor said they’d cover the salary of the new coach..whatever it cost. So, yeah.

stokesjokes wrote: March 20th, 2021, 7:38 pm Just to be clear, the Big 10 were on the wrong end of two of the biggest upsets of the tourney so far. The “some are gonna lose” argument would work if it was reversed and it was Wisconsin and Rutgers that lost.
The Ohio St game was a big upset. Almost as big as the UVA upset years ago. Not sure that upset said anything negative about the ACC just like that says nothing about the B1G. Purdue was the same match up as the LU game. That one went in to OT and Purdue has never been a Tournament team. I would argue it shows how tough the B1G was BECAUSE their lower seeds aren’t losing. If they were you could say “Oh, they were just top heavy”. Instead you’re seeing there isn’t a lot of separation between Michigan and Rutgers.
There is not much separation between Michigan and rutgers because both are highly overrated. The big10 is overrated in football and basketball every year, it's a league of choke artists
