Former LU basketball player Mike Goad has retired as Coach of James River high School after 18 years. He was Coach at Nelson County for about 5 years, before going to James River.

His 2010 team won the State Championship. In the championship game, all 5 starters played the entire 32 minutes.

I notice you failed to mention that he coached the Liberty softball team for a year. I wonder why?
