If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

Third F'in try at this. I AM LOGGED IN! i think I will copy and paste and someone is having difficulties.
And,y message does not have too few characters.

Game two was great till Bregman let it blow open.
The Astros did not win 107 because ghey laid down.
I recall the Indians up 3-1 just a few years ago and the Cubs took it all.
this is why I love baseball.

A few sabermetrics from the Astros offense in recent playoff years.
2017 .315 wOBA .338 xwOBA
2018 .362 wOBA .326 xwOBA
2019 .288 wOBA .326 xwOBA

There is a distinct slump and it is time to break loose. if they do it is a new series quickly. We took the first two series but we need our O to finish it off.

Cole 20-5 (has not lost since May) 2.50 ERA
Scherzer 11-7 2.92 ERA

Game 2
Verlander 21-6 2.58 ERA
Strasburg 18-6 3.32 ERA

Game 3
Greinke 18-5 2.93 ERA
Undecided

The Astros get to the Nationals pen (a glaring weakness) The Stros will roll.
OBTW Adam, our number three in ERA is as good as the Nationals #1
Since Opening Day, I have maintained the Nationals have best starting pitching in baseball.

(Has anyone seen Bryce Harper)

He got what he wanted and the Nats now got what they wanted, winning the World Series. I am sure both sides are perfectly fine with how things played out.

What a performance by the Nats though. I made myself stay up to watch and am glad I did. The Nats are a great story. That is what should be celebrated, No need to bring a player who signed elsewhere into the conversation.

No. He messed up team chemistry.
Don’t you know #fraudcoach doesn’t believe in team chemistry? Only X‘S and O’s

Meanwhile in Philadelphia.............
Well, Cole is leaving Houston as did Morton. It is a business and if you can market yourself go for it. I hated Morton leaving but still love watching him pitch. And, most Houston fans understand this and still love CFM. The same will be said for Cole.
Loyalty should be nto the player and their family.
There are exceptions like Bregman, Bagwell, and Biggio but they are farb and few between.

Congrats to the Nats. They did what we did in 17 ... late inning magic.
Classy fan base unlike NY, Boston, and Philly.
In those cities our fans have been attacked to include our female field reporter.
Astro fans in DC were treated well.
I hope the Nats fans enjoy the taste of winning one. It is glorious.
It was a fun series to watch.
Houston had a chance to cement a legacy of greatness but it looks like we are going the way of then Braves legacy .....
We (Astros) are favorites for next year again.
