It is America. So yes. Like it or not, Football is king in our country and it doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon. You don't have to partake in the football discussion but allowing it to bother you is adding stress to yourself that isnt necessary.

The American men have been quite disappointing for almost two decades now. Andy Roddick never figured out how to close a match against Federer, and we've never had serious, consistent challengers to the Big Three/Four.

Frankly we just don't possess the kind of developmental system that could churn out players like Djoker and Fed and Nadal who can dominate on all three surfaces. Isner is dealing with injuries and Sock has been inconsistent and Tiafoe had the one run recently but got bounced in his first match on clay. Im not sure what it's going to take to get that next great American star like Roddick who can compete with the best in the world and find himself on the second weekend of majors on the regular
