Not sure how many of yall follow the horses, but history was made today at Churchill Downs.

One of the favorites, Maximum Security, crossed the line first, but after a review, he became the first ever winner to be disqualified as it was ruled that he crossed into the path of another horse. That horse, War of Will, would fade to 8th by the wire. The horse who benefits? Country House, a 65-1 longshot who finishes second and is elevated to first after the disqualification. That led to an over $3000 exacta win for anyone making a bet on the race

I don’t disagree with the dq but I do disagree that Country a house would have won. I think it’s pretty clear War of Will was severely impeded but stayed tight in the race.

It was absolutely the correct call. Maximum security messed up the whole race and as it was running I was thinking it was a foul.
