I think it’s a great hire for them. I like the nod to Coach Meyer. That guy was a legend. Perfect template for them. Not a good hire for Liberty

There is no question the guy can coach. Having Derek on staff should give us a leg up on the rest of the conference in preparing for them. He has a huge rebuilding job to do, which will test whether he can recruit D1 players.
