If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

This should be a safe post.

Who do you like in Saturday's game? If close, do you see a rematch? I kind-of like the Bucks in a close one, but would love to see SoCal lose to Cal and beat Notre Dame, and Florida to lose in the SEC title game, if for no other reason to shake up the BCS.

OSU. They will be dotting 3 I's. Their own in the script Ohio and the two in M ch gan! Lloyd Carr will ensure it won't be close.

I'm going with Meeeechigan (even though I am an Irish fan). Troy Smith is overrated. Sorry. He goes for 120 yards, 0 TD's, and an intercepion last week in a close win over Illinois (1-6) and somehow they say his Heisman stock is going up. What???? Incidentally, Brady Quinn threw for 4 TD's, 393 yards, and no INTs (in 3 quarters) against Navy (7-3) the same day and the same group of Heisman voters said he looked "shakey". Are you kidding me?

By the way, USC should not be allowed to win the national championship this year because their quarterback's name is BOOTY. Not acceptable.

I will say OSU simply because whenever I have seen Michigan play they seem somewhat shaky, they are a heck of a team though....OSU by 10, and since there is no playoff system the unbeaten teams really shouldat least get some added points for not losing a game...But a 16 team playoff would be the best in my great opinion....not as many schools would be making money...but i mean they could still have bowl games if they wanted to...high school footbal does that a little...teams with decent record that don't make the playoffs, they play in some bowlgames, like their is one at Disney's Wide World of Sports...I don't understand, i think a playoff system is good for everybody....but college preisdent love going to thisisthecrappiestbowlever.com bowl's for some reason....

as a michigan fan i fairly certain that mich can win....but henne ahs been navarrish at times...

at the shoe, its going to be real real tough...i don't think it will be a blowout though either way

as for a possible rematch, i don't see it, even in a close game...it should happen if its close but i don't mind it not....if mich loses, and we lose to OSU AGAIN, we'll never live it down,...if we win in a rematch, i'd say there is no real champion as we won 1, they won 1.

there are a few teams here deserving of a shot at the title game as of right now...

Mich, OSU, ARk, ND, FLA, USC

the bcs once again, will fail miserably at dertermining a champion this year..

16 teams would require too much time IMO...something i don't think they have...8 teams i thikn would be better...

I have been a big fan of this format.
I suggest they use the existing BCS bowls (Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, Orange) and add two other major bowls (ex: cotton and peach) in a playoff system. The playoffs would be held at these sites (rounds would alternate sites each year).
All of the other [fill in the blank]-dot-com bowls could still be held without disrupting the process.

A Penn State fan saying 'Go OSU'? OK ....

As a native Ohioan and longtime Buckeye fan before I discovered the joys of being a Longhorn fan through marriage, I have nothing but disgust at the mere thought of maize & blue.

Go Bucks

As for the BCS, I suddenly lost a great deal of interest this past weekend. :?

Give me OSU in a tight win. I like their defense better and have a better running game than Michigain. Should be a GREAT game though.

I think you only need 4 teams

Dec 23 2 games
January 2-4 (any of those days) Championship (give the teams an extra 2-3 days due to travel and media to hype it up)

So much for a defensive struggle.
I would say that the 3 point OSU win sets things up for even more controversy if USC doesn't win out. A rematch in the championship game would be a mess if UM wins. Who is the real champion then?

michigan didn't stop the pass early. they played too far off the line in the first half...it was ridiculous...

the ball state exposed their lack of cornerback depth so i think tressel took advantage of that and ran 4/5 wr/te sets...making them be on the field...it killed us...

those 2 runs were ridiculous as well...

cradle is a moron and should as we don't know if we'd of won if he hadn't late hit smith, hes still a moron

Now I must root for Notre Dame to win over USC to shake up the BCS. the pollsters will have a tough time with this one, and who knows what the computer rankings will show.

what a crazy weekend

Penn State barely takes the Spartans at HOME
Rutgers gets EXPOSED
LSU all but blows it at home and looks REAL vulnerable
USC starts slow but keeps the streak alive, winning at home against Cal
Wake- hoo boy (see Rutgers comment)
BC takes down the Terps in impressive fashion
Georgia South ends a disasterous season on a horrible note

and I STILL don't care about the "Big" 12
