Wake Forest rolls the quad after big wins. Last night they let the quad have it after the BC win.

You can guarantee people don't drive back and say, "Did Wake Win?" there. We had probably two or three people drive by us and ask if LU won yesterday.

haha....people in charge at LU wouldn't know how to handle it...they don't fill up the fountain anymore because students put bubbles in it...oh gosh NOT BUBBLES!!!!

I've known about this tradition since I was a kid. We'd ride by Wake a day after a game and would be able to tell if they won the night before because it'd be white on campus if they did. I love it.

Here is a serious question - How in the world do you clean that up? And I definately feel for the people that do have to clean it up. Still is pretty cool tradition. ALthough, in years past, it may only happen a few times a year.

That's very true, and it's the one thing that's always bothered me the most about LU. I've rarely had any problems with the system here, but the inability of the administration to find a balance between letting kids be kids and keeping the standards of the university where they want them has been frustrating. I never really feel that way except when it comes to traditions like this. I would love to see something like this happen that would be a tradition at LU. To me, it would seem that Jeff Barber may be the voice of reason who could help the uptight folks who adjust the clamps around here to understand it.

Now, having said that, it would also be nice if LU kids would learn not to take things too far. It seems like whenever they're given an inch, they want to take a mile. (Like spray painting EVERY rock on campus.)

I agree about the inch/mile deal. I would love some sort of tradition but LU kids would take it too far.

Since LU does not have a quad like most universities, I think all up and down university drive would be aweome looking. Make it look like a winter wonderland.

yeah thats what i was thinking, with all the trees in front of demoss that already form a little archway you could cover that in white

Don't you think you're going to end up with some reps if you try this.

not if you dont take your ID card with you. but no in all honesty if we had 30 people out there tping, what are the odds that 30 police officers would all show up at once to grab all of us, i just have to be able to outrun one other person. like last year at my old school like 50 guys did a naked mile and only 2 cops came, so we all got away, only the thing with that is even if there had been more i doubt any cop would want to touch a naked guy after they ran a mile

I am VERY curious as to how they clean that up. I can't see how it's even possible but they obviously do it somehow. Start a new original tradition. Like burning couches or something. Wait no. I mean burning recliners.

that would be awsome! we need to figure out something to do, something the administration won't freak out about
