The team from Harrisonburg is ranked #1. Jacksonville State #6. Charleston Southern is ranked, can't recall where. LU is not ranked in Top 25. Some team that had a 5-6 record last year is ranked.

I'm not going to argue that the two time 6-5 Liberty Flames should be ranked in preseason. There is nothing to indicate we are better than any of those teams at the moment. In three months, if that remains the same with the bump in schollies it may be time to move on to a new coach.

For all intents and purposes, Liberty is no longer an FCS team. It should not be ranked in any FCS poll.

I thought about that, but I see we came in at #34 in points in the Poll.

I dont care if were ranked or not but its not like this years team will reap the benefits of fbs. So we added 4 juco players if you count the late addition of hurtado. We literally only have about 60 players that we recruited as scholarship players.
