RU's head coach announced today that he is resigning, effective at the end of the season.

Sort of a pre-emptive strike I would say. He was a lame duck coach this year at best meaning he was probably gonna get fired after this season anyway from what I was hearing. Early candidates would be former Assistant and current division II head coach Bill Lilly, Tulane coach Dave Dickerson, a UMD grad that used to coach at UMD and would maybe like to get back to the east. Dave was an assistant under Ron Bradley as well. Duke coach Johnny Dawkins (long shot) and of course Buzz Petersen

What about Jeff Meyer? (I couldn't resist!!)

Marshall could take it and then realize he doesn't want it on the drive back and resign.
