anyone know if any of our student atheletes have or are considering taking part in Olympic trials for the winter or summer games? I would think we have several candidates that could make an impact (McDougal comes to mind)

I know Katie Feenstra said she wanted to represent...Heather Sagin (now Zealand) tried out for Athens, but didn't qualify.

Heather Sagin was track and field...she's LU's first national champion, winning the indoor mile.

Josh will undoubtedly be headed to the Olympic Trials in two years barring injury. Frankly I'd be surprised if we haven't had some Olympians from foreign nations at LU over the years. With such an international flavor surely we've had a few.

Former LU track alumni and bachelorette alumni Josh Cox came close to qualifying for the Marathon team for athens...I believe he has turned his attention to the triathalon and maybe trying to take that route for the next one.

We had a pole vaulter who actually did fairly well and got an invite to "camp" I can't remeber her name. I think it was Andrea something. She was pretty good.
Does the track/field athlete that was on Tuff Euff count?
