With 3 semi local teams, there should be a huge crowd. and weather will be beautiful for football.

Dwayne Carson attends Amherst High School football games.

Mitch Hanson's brother Jesse is playing for Lord Boutetourt tomorrow. I would go if I hadn't already made prior commitments. Ballcoach needs to check him out for the staff. He's only a freshman but starting at tackle. He's #72 ballcoach.

I will check him out, though I am not much of a guru on linemen, I watch the skill positions. I always joke that if a team's o line did not come on field I would not notice it.

I would think some of LU staff would be there. I know of one former LU player that had no offers until state championship game at LU. Staff saw him, made offer and that player started every game in his 4 years at LU.

I would also like to think that a lot of "locals" would be at both games. 4 good teams there today. football is football. Nothing else in Hill City today other than LU basketball. Thus, everyone should be on campus for something.

As an alum I'm offended that he didn't spell Botetourt correctly.

Botetourt is the hardest word I have ever tried to spell, I miss it 99 times out of a 100.

If I wrote that down several times I believe I could learn it quicker than Botetourt .

I bet he can't pronounce it correctly either :p

Vhsca all star game on Sunday...anybody going?

The all star game might be an excellent opportunity for LU to grab a couple unsigned recruits. I not sure if this is dead period in recruiting or not. But still good opportunity.

According to ncaa.org it's a quiet period this weekend with a dead period starting Monday
