Yes he is. I'm sure he has some sort of ridiculous reason for hating the Cubs. Probably because they're not from the South.

I blame all the Band Wagon fans!!! It was overflowing! But what a great year. I can't believe how bad the outfield is defensively and the early pitching....OMG! Cahill is THE MAN simply because I honestly believe there is a chance I could run into him in line at a buffet! No one thought they'd get this far this year, so for once, the Cubs appear ahead of schedule! And as always:
WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!

It was a joke. I not like Cubs for the following reasons:
The TV folks focus more on the fans in the bleachers than the players on the field.
The Cubs were guilty of tampering, when they hired their Manager.
I like the Cardinals.
Someone above was right about outfield defense. The left fielder looked like a pick up from a church softball league.

Jokes are intended to be funny. Ph's post above was funny. The nicest thing I can say about yours is that it wasn't funny

It was the perfect time for then to win it. They had back to the future on their side. If they can't win it with that kind if endorsement then I don't think they ever will.

How are they guilty of tampering? He was on the way out
Why do you hate fans so much?

I'm a rays fan. There was no tampering.
The Cardinals on the other hand hire scouts from other teams so they are able to log into their former teams servers. Right?????

I would have some very strong words for the cardinals but they would likely get me banned. The infamous "infield fly" still makes me angry.

I disagree. I thought it was very funny, especially coming from no nonsense ballcoach.

I had a quick laugh. It's mainly because it's ballcoach and his demeanor. I think tampering was more likely with friedman. Once he was gone maddon was too.

Madden left so that he could sign on with Cubs. If my memory is correct after he left, he was offered a job by another team and declined, because he knew he was going to Chicago.

Why is that an issue?
