Winthrop Athletics is launching a new branding campaign - One W1NTHROP - that focuses its emphasis on “One Team, One Family, One Goal, One W1INTHROP” during 2015-16.

The purpose of this new branding look for Winthrop Athletics is to draw its 18 teams closer together, to instill a stronger bond between the athletic department and the local communities, and to promote a common purpose of success on the courts and playing fields and in the classroom.

The four core principles of the One W1NTHROP campaign are education, opportunity, community and tradition.

Looks kinda hokey to me. Not as bad as the Flamespy's, but close.

I actually like it better the other way

Marketing/branding has not been a strong-suit of the program for a while...I like that they are attempting to do something, but the execution seems to be a few years behind the times. I am using the #W1nthrop hashtag at times to at least be a team player, but I don't think it is anything to be excited about.

I know this is very cliche', but I prefer L0sethrop myself.
