But it appears that the new Griz coach is falling in line with past UM coaches in handing out relatively light suspensions. As a result, this should have no impact on their trip to Williams Stadium.

If the Montana Grizzlies are to beat the four-time defending national champions, they'll have to do so without their starting outside linebacker.

Herbert Gamboa, a senior on the Montana football team, has been suspended for the Grizzlies' season opener against North Dakota State on Aug. 29.

Gamboa will sit out Montana's highly anticipated and nationally televised game for violating team and athletic department rules following his arrest late last week in Missoula.

It's a kids-will-be-kids misdemeanor charge. One game seems completely in line.

Disorderly conduct for challenging others to a fight outside of a house party and his record will be cleared if he complies with everything the court ordered. There's far worse things and I agree with Lang about one game being completely in-line.
