To little surprise, FSU dismisses QB De'Andre Jordan.

It also goes to show you can't get away with as much if you are a 3rd stringerBut he´s a 3rd stringer who threw 2 touchdown passes in the Spring game. This was very likely their QB of the future. It makes you wonder if FSU has been completely ignoring character in their recruiting process. I think in a program like FSU now, or Miami back in the day, at some point the reputation for bad behavior becomes self-perpetuating. Kids that otherwise wouldn´t, do stupid stuff because they feel like it´s expected of them.

This guys punched a women and it was caught on tape, Winston had sex with a girl... Oh yeah - he had a friend give him older crab legs at a grocery (notice - I used to work at a Publix and we gave away old crabs and meat that was expired and unsellable)... And even worse - he stood on a table in the student union and sang a song. I've been to FSU - it's a party school and lots of people are drinking and having sex...
This was way worse and had nothing to do with FSU and more to do with kids being in a bar and an individual being an idiot.

Although I do agree with him, b/c unless an athlete of legal age knows when to stop, overconsumption of alcohol slows down cognitive function and physical performance on the field/court for almost 24 hours.

This is true both in NCAA and the professional ranks.Yeah, I completely disagree. I've been out past midnight many times, and after graduating LU it often did not involve work or ballgames. No trouble whatsoever.
Sounds to me as if there should be a midnight curfew. I have always maintained that anyone out after midnight is "up to no good". (unless they are coming from work or a ball game and on way home). I'd like to see a law requiring all bars to close at midnight.
