NCAA Super Regionals

The SEC placed 5 teams in Super Regionals, the ACC 4, Big 10 2, and Big 12 had 1. There were 4 "Mid-major" teams that made it. The PAC 10 (or 12), had no team make it. (cheers).
LU went 1-3 against Super Regional teams, (if my memory is correct). Beating Maryland and losing to Terps once and UVA twice

Interestingly enough, VCU was not on our schedule this year.

For some reason I was thinking we played and beat VCU. I checked schedule 3 times to verify .

Grab a burger at Citizen Burger on the Walking Mall. You won't be sorry, or hungry, afterwards!

Upgrades needed:
2 pitchers
2 middle of order hitters
1 lead off hitter
When I go to Charlottesville, I try to confine my travels to Davenport Field, no less-no more. It's almost like a foreign country to me.

Wow...... Maryland pitcher, Gallagan throwing 90% breaking balls and the VA pitcher has thrown almost 120 pitches through 8. I guess no one will want any of their pitchers at the next level. Sheeesh, the abuse to those arms.

Those coaches should know better than that.

Some of best burgers I ever ate at a college stadium. But I will say they were not as good as ones at University of Florida softball stadium.

That's not saying much. Stadium burgers are usually dry and over cooked. Although the bacon cheeseburger on a Krispy Kreme is pretty solid

I have never had a burger that was over cooked. I want them cooked just short of burnt.

Medium rare is the way to go if you're eating quality beef.

My in-laws are the same way. Over-cooked meats and under-cooked vegetables.

My father-in-law and his wife tend to be that way when grilling. Last summer when we were up there he set the grill on fire, and I'm not exageratting.

It does explain why he's never had an overlooked stadium burger!
