Radford will not host a Regional . I expect RU will be sent to Vanderbilt or Louisville both are hosting regional.

Radford is a 2 seed in Vanderbilt Regional . Coastal Carolina is a 2 seed in Texas A&M Regional . Virgina is 3 seed at UC Santa Barbara .

Since liberty isnt involved...wouldn't this be better served in Non-LU Sports?

Can some RPI guru tell me how North Carolina with an RPI of 24 got passed over , yet Oregon with RPI of 66 got in ?
LU had higher RPI than Oregon.

Can someone one here explain the continued success of DBU? I know a slew of folks who go there and even they can't figure out why that program in Dallas has become such a powerhouse. Glad the Horns squeaked into the field for Augie but not liking their chances in that regional.

I not know anything about DB, but it appears they have a good coach who recruits well and pushes all the right buttons .

Dallas Baptist recruits well. Wes Johnson develops pitchers very well. It's a good combination.

How is DB's hitting coach?

Also, Maryland and ECU are both in the field with Maryland being one of the last 4 in. If only...

Good observation. Oregon was one of last teams in, if not the very last one. Our RPI is higher than the Quacks'.

How did Radford get such a high RPI. They did not play that tough of a schedule. They played only Virginia Tech from ACC, Auburn from SEC and West Virginia from Big 10. They avoided the good ACC and SEC teams.

LU had higher RPI than Oregon.
They lost 6 of 7 prior to the ACC tournament, had a losing conference record and their leading hitter just got suspended indefinitely.

It's a joke that the NCAA Tournament for baseball starts after the lacrosse tournaments END. Baseball season is way, way too long.

I agree 100%. I think they could reduce the number of games and shorten the season. Not to mention the season starts too early. February is too early to be playing baseball.
I believe the NCAA does it this way to prevent teams from having 2 good starting pitchers and dominating. They force teams to have a deep pitching staff.

February & March are the best months for playing baseball ... at least down here along the Gulf Coast.

So much for Radford, CCU or ECU the first day...like to have seen what we would have done.

Terps are looking good. Knocked off #2 and #1 seeds. A win tonight puts them in the super regional, which could be in Charlotteville.

Coach Szefc has built one heck of a program, they just came out of nowhere last year and now they're knocking off the #1 overall seed.
