Their teal jerseys were hideous enough, this is even worse.

Love it. I would love to see our field be navy with red end zones.

I think black end zones would've looked better but the bronze is definitely an interesting look to it.
If you're gonna go colored turf, teal is a lot better than blue, red, or purple.

I think the bronze will look better 'live'. I still say we could pull off a navy blue with red end zone

I don't understand it. The best part about that campus is how nice the grounds are kept. Why would you take a beautiful natural grass field and put in teal turf?
The only reason that makes sense is if they just want to stand out and be unique. So, maybe in that regard the field will be appealing to recruits. To me though, that just seems like an ugly field in an ugly stadium.

Turf is more cost effective when you use the stadium for multiple things. It'll allow them to have concerts and other things like that there.

They probably figure they need to get an advantage on us again after losing on their home field, even though they went farther in the playoffs...
Jon is also right in the added multipurpose functionality it brings, although I think lacrosse plays in the soccer stadium...

That's the dumbest thing you've said in a long time.*

The field actually wasnt in that great of shape. Its great for golf and even baseball but im not sure it wasnt one of the worst surfaces we played on. There were lots of players losing footing both ways and it wasnt really wet at all. Hate the color but like the turf

It was more designed not to be taken seriously Jon...if our beating them played even a nanomicroscopic part in doing that, I would hope they fire somebody

I thought the NCAA was going to ban doing this after Eastern Washington changed theirs?

Teal and grey aren't quite the same but close (at least close by my colorblind eyes). I've seen a grey field in person. It is quite dreadful.

The addition of women's lacrosse was a big part of the decision to go turf. Stadium will be getting much more use now.

I can't think of a reason why they shouldn't be allowed.
