Appears to be centered just on men's basketball.

i hope the only reason we are mentioned is because of our massive online program. if this is happening here theres no way dale layer would know about it/ allow it to happen.

but if it is true.... this could ruin everything.

At one point we must have recruited, knowingly or not, student athletes who were involved with this mr. White. There is no link that our university directly was using him. In that article (http://www.si.com/college-basketball/20 ... ing-scheme) a former ncaa investigator said that we were questioned as part of a case.

"According to a former NCAA investigator who was familiar with the case, five universities -- Liberty, Morgan State, Oregon, South Florida, and Xavier of Ohio -- faced questions about players with whom Mr. White had worked. (The inquiry at South Florida did not involve the player whose father spoke to The Chronicle.)"

And then:

"Several of the universities stopped recruiting or denied enrollment to certain players with connections to Mr. White. But the NCAA cleared some students to play."

I trust we were one of those universities.

Look at the timeline. Probably not happening now. Not surprising who was probably HC when it was (allegedly) happening.

That's what UNC fans have been saying about Roy Williams for months now. Of course we all know that is a load of bull excrement. But considering how bad LU is, I would think he didn't allow it to happen. Surely he could have gotten better talent by taking these red flags.

if thats the case then, it removes the only reason left not to fire him.
