Eastern Christian Academy is a joke, founded by a rich, over-bearing, wannabe coach, father when the school his son was going to kicked him to the curb. Sills was using Red Lion Christian Academy to surround his son(who committed to Southern California at 13) with 5 star talent. And when Red Lion was crippled with debt they sold out to a nearby church who wouldn't give into Sills and his money. When he was in charge at Red Lion the Christian in the school's name was forgotten in favor of building a high school power house. After getting kicked out at Red Lion Sills took the Lions football team and used them to create Eastern. The new administration at Red Lion is still trying to remove the image of them being a "football factory" that he created. They had to beg the DIAA to let them back in and they are still on probation with that league. Sorry for the mini-rant but several of my friends went to Red Lion and they talked about what it was like when the administration was in Sills' pocket and what he did bankrupted the school.

Yeah, i knew a kid who played football for red lion when we were in middle school. He hated how football obsessed the place was, and then transferred. Coincidentally, he graduated from LU as well. I remember red lion played LCA a few years ago while stills was running the show. What Jake says is 100% true about the place.

Wouldn't surprise me, the Lions were a local private school powerhouse in every sport in the days when Sills had the administration in his pocket. Since the football team was recruiting all the other teams did too. Traveling all over the place since no private school in the area would play them helped those recruited players get some major exposure to college coaches.
