I thought I would create a thread about potential, probable and pending coaching changes this season. It won't be long now.

Anyone want to take a guess when Hoke the Joke get's canned in Ann Arbor? Suggestions for replacement?

I'm very interested to see who Florida will go after when the season ends.

Dana is off the hot seat in Morgantown. Love to see a Bowl match up with us and the little green boys from down south

Kliff Kingsbury should go back to being a model. In over his head at Texas Tech.

I just want abBowl win to add to my T Shirt collection.
Orange You Glad We Won and Taming The Bear. I missed out on 'Sucks to B U. You never forget your first' So I'm sure something clever for beating the little green slugs would be in the works!

You and me both! But you've got to admit, Dana has the worst comb-over in college football.

But if it really doesn't 'go over' is it really a comb over?

Florida will go after Chip Kelly. I don't think they'll land him, but I would bet a lot of money that they go after him.

Also, I'm a huge Duke fan but my gut tells me that Cutcliffe gets a big offer this year and takes it.

Cutcliffe is a Duke lifer. He had his shot at the 'Big Time' and I think had his fill. Plus, Dukes putting money into the program. I think he stays..

I've thought the same things, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see him leave for the right fit.

If he ever leaves, it's going to be sooner rather than later. He's already 60.

Dan Wolken thinks Mendenhall might leave BYU if the right opportunity presents itself, the guy can obviously coach but he's been in the same place, which has to be a one of the toughest schools in the country to recruit players to, for 10 years. Maybe it's time for him to move on and a few big programs without coaches to throw a lot of money at him. I think either Florida or Michigan is the front runner for him if he decides to leave Provo.

I think among other things the crowds we have drawn the last 2 home games may have put TG in a mind set where he would not leave for another job just because it's FBS. I know it was a joke, but I actually doubt he would consider Buffalo a step up at this point.

I've heard around different places that Harbaugh and the 49ers may split ways (I don't see it at all. Seems like a load of bull.) and he'll head to Michigan. Again I have no idea how plausible that is just throwing out there a possibility that I've heard.

Very plausible because of his style of coaching. Eventually players start to tune coaches like him out. That's not to say he isn't a good coach but his style will work better in College long term than the Pros

I don't think Kliff gets kanned in Lubbock. But it is a very real possibility. Otherwise I think that's a great life, FFG. My only question is whether or not your former employer has the nerve to recognize the Miles era is a disaster. Their expectations are so low that I don't see him being canned anytime soon.

I didn't see Frank Beamer on the list.

I really, truly believe that some of these coaches should have the right to step away when they want to. Frank Beamer is one of those men. His time, however, was over at LEAST several years ago. He needs to take the hint and go.

No, they are coaches...don't make them into gods. Lifetime contracts cripple programs.

As for Frank, I think he's great but he isn't capable of being the head coach of Virginia Tech anymore. He's lost his recruiting edge, his coaching strategy hasn't evolved, and there is no growth. Someone needs to ask him to step away or assume a different role within the football program.

I think Beamer sticks around till the Bristol game against UT.
