Man I have been waiting for this to break to the public. I am happy for my boy Jason. I plan on making a few trips to Boone next season for sure. I'm hoping we all follow him to the SunBelt conference soon

Website said he was VMI's recruiting coordinator, if he could recruit to a school like VMI imagine what he could at App.

SCAR has been gushing @ him since Jan 2006 and every time we hire a coach his name seems to pop up

Jason is one of the few people that I talk to on the phone on a regular basis. Not a big phone guy but He is on my short list. When we go weeks without talking, Duggar Baucom used to ask Jason if we were feuding.

Also I have been gushing about Jason since 1995 when I was his coach and scout team teammate. He always had a good basketball IQ. He would walk down from the end of the bench in the middle of the game and make very helpful suggestions to our staff.

App has nailed the coaching search. That's a really well rounded staff... I'll be making a few trips to Boone this Fall myself.

I think it was more like you guys wanted him and Andy Parish Besides, I was low man on the totem pole. I had very little pull as a coach. I was more of a Ploach.
