Congats to UVA and Coach McKay. I know he left us in a bad spot, but still believe he is a good guy, can't rally blame him for his decision.
These UVA players are very impressive, humble and act like they have been there before. Gotta think their coach will get a lot of votes for COY. A fantastic TEAM victory. This is the way basketball needs to be played. To quote our president: R-S-P-E-C-T.

I still wish he was out coach with dale as his assistant...

I agree with the team aspect of your sentiment but prefer something more uptempo

I'm one proud alumnus of UVa. Even wore my UVa tie to church today for good luck.
Coach Bennett is a class act. Assistant Coach McKay: I'd rather not talk about it.

Congrats are definitely in order. Coach Bennett is a great coach and does everything the right way. Who would have thought 3 months ago UVa would get a 1 seed?

The combination of HC McKay and top assistant Layer was awesome, but for the Richie bashers out there we should be reminded who it was that broke up that dream team after one year, and here's a hint................. it wasn't Richie.

I am a Liberty Alum and proud of it but I have been a life long UVA fan. The only way I don't root for UVA is if they are playing LU otherwise go WAHOOS

I hated both teams in the ACC Championship and now UVA is playing Costal in the round of 64. So back to back games of UVA playing another team I hate equally. Great just great

Costal beating UVA? I don't know whether I'd laugh at UVA or just dread the fact that Costal won a Tournament game as a 16 seed

Id do both...because they'd make even more history than we ever did (and we were a 16 seed in all three appearances, one in the first four)

I might take Coastal at that line. UVA doesn't put up a lot of points. They obviously give up some of it not the fewest points in the country. Losing by >10 to them is a blow out. So a 19 point line is HUGE

Virginia has beaten 12 teams by 19 or more. 7 of them were ACC opponents.

I didn't realize the number was that high. Very Impressive

I won't be surprised at all if Coastal doesn't crack 40. CCU's offense isn't very good (championship game vs. Winthrop was a major exception) and UVA has generally punished the weak offensive teams they faced this year. And the only defense that Coastal faced this season that even comes close to UVA is Clemson, and CCU lost 69-40.

Coastal has as much chance of beating UVA as we do and we aren't even in the tournament.

This post must simply be based off of UVA's lack of history because it really lacks any kind of logic whatsoever. Coastal has ZERO chance of beating a very, very, very good UVA team
