The crusades were the darkest time in the Christian church. I see no problem with it. I guess that makes me a bleeding heart liberal, huh?

What I find interesting is that they did this out of their own initiative, they weren't contacted by anyone asking them to do this. I applaud the idea and reasoning behind these administrators, however I think there are FAR more important things to be worried about than a team's name.

atrain has it right here. i dont' "applaud" the idea, i just don't care either way what a private institution does on its on volition.
