Jimbo Fisher's Connections to Bowdens began through LU?

Curious fact of the day ...
Jacksonville (FL) Florida Times-Union wrote:Fisher went to Clemson to play baseball but got homesick and returned after the first semester. At the time, Bobby Bowden’s son, Terry, was coaching at Division III Salem College, located west of Clarksburg, and had known of Fisher’s reputation. They met at a Liberty University basketball game and soon after, Fisher transferred there to play quarterback for Bowden.

I would say that if you want to be quiet, have a conversation and be alone, a LU basketball game might be a place to begin. :)

Sly, I wonder if that Florida journalist has his geography wrong: I'm guessing the college was actually West Liberty University in West Virginia, which is in the same athletic conference as Salem College.

BTW, I think Cider has this pegged. West Liberty makes a lot more sense considering the scenario presented.
