Orgeron isn't your typical USC guy. He's of Cajun descent and really just passionate about being the head coach somewhere. He applied to Florida Atlantic too, which doesn't have the notoriety of a practice field at Ferrum College. I think he's one of the better recruiters in the country and could turn around WF's program really quick. Tim DeRuyter would be an excellent fit as well, but I'm not sure that he would leave Fresno State for Wake Forest. With all of the shifting in the Pac 12, he might hold off for an offer there.

Lets not act like the Big South hasn't improved since Gill got here. Not an excuse, because I still believe we should win the conference year in and year out, but don't try to spin reality to make your emotional opinions sound good.
