Congrats to Auburn fans. Your team played a great game. Here is hoping you make it to Pasadena. RTR.

I know you weren't thrilled with it 24, but that was probably the most incredible finish to a game I have seen. Saban probably wishes he hadn't pushed for the 1 second to be put back on the clock.

Saban has a bunch of regrets from that game. I'm shocked. That dude can coach.

Seriously, that is the first time in a long, long time that Saban simply overcoached himself and his team out of a game and it still a great play from Auburn to pull a win off...

And now the kicker is getting death threats. I will never understand why people take things that far. Disgraceful

Makes even the crazy posters here look like choirboys...that kid is going to have to go in witness protection or something...

So true BJ. Kind of is a good reminder to those out there that think for some odd reason that fans on this board are too harsh.

I'm just curious how the future Mrs McCarron felt? Gee honey, sorry you lost but I'm glad we won!

its a fluke play that the bama kids on the field did not prepare for. kicking wasn't the blunder, covering was the blunder. it happened in the bears/mn game. but the bears covered it and tackled him at the 15 yd line.

saban's only mistake was not making sure they understood this. kicking that ball was not that big of a deal and teams do it all the time in the nfl/ncaaf.

If Auburn loses, which isn't a stretch
And OSU loses (a bit more of a stretch) or FSU loses (more of a stretch) the Tide could be playing for the National Championship :cheerleader :pbjtime or am I :flamingdevil

How about if OSU and FSU both lose. Do we see an Iron Bowl II? That would be pretty cool.

The Dark Side is as strong as ever.

If OSU OR FSU loses, Missouri probably would be playing the one of those two that did not lose. Now if you said OSU AND FSU loses, then you could say Alabama could be playing for the national championship.

Ohio State and Auburn are much closer in the BCS standings then Ohio State and Florida State. Now I doubt this happens, but it is not out of the BCS realm of possibilities if both Ohio State and Auburn win their games seeing Auburn leap frog Ohio State. I doubt that happens but wouldn't be completely shocked by it either.

I am a Florida State fan and will take a national championship any way it comes, however, there is part of me that hopes it doesn't come against Ohio State. They are a very weak #2 seed.

If FSU plays OSU in national Championship game it would end in a blow out. to be honest, I hope mizzou gets the chance to play FSU. As much as people say they are overrated I think they'd make it a good game.

I think the winner of mizzu / AU should play. I still think BAMA's the best team. :football

i think fsu blows out whoever they play to be honest. just the fastest team on the field. what makes osu not as good if you ask me as auburn/bama is their defense being porous at times. but if they beat mich st who should be a top 6 team right now (computers hate defense), they deserve the shot. while osu had a weaker schedule, a 1 loss team deserves nothing. i'm rooting mich st and for mizzou this weekend.

Missouri shouldn't of been top 5, but neither should Ohio State haha

Missouri earned the #5 ranking. They were in today's game until the last 5 minutes.

I guess we'll have to disagree on that. I just don't see it

mich st like i said should be higher. fla st sweeps. #2 teams shouldnt let anyone score 40+ pts

mizzou was slightly overrated, auburn is too (2 complete miracles), and osu has played with fire all season. their luck ran out.

bama is probably the #2 team in my eyes. thank God for a playoff next year.

Problem is that they can't pass auburn so they'll end up in the game, alabama might get an at large and ohio state goes from one win away from the NC to probably playing in the Capital One Bowl.

Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs. Stanford
Orange Bowl: Clemson vs Alabama
Sugar Bowl: UCF vs Missouri
Fiesta Bowl: Baylor vs. Ohio State
