Word on the street is he is no longer the women's hoops coach at VUL. Anyone got any confirmation on that?

I feel like I am totally missing something? haha. I know who Jeff Meyer is and how he and Randy are connected but not sure why his name keeps getting said?

If I remember correctly, whenever a debate is starts on FF.com about RD, Haize just repeats Jeff Meyer over and over.

Which I find pretty hilarious.

I heard this a couple of weeks ago from an excellent source. Haven't seen it confirmed any where as of yet. I do know that the football team was kicked out of their rented dorms for lack of payment. For certain, they are having severe financial problems.

It started as a result of our friend checkmate (and his 47 other usernames) and his continually dragging the AD and how he screwed his friend RD and how we were better off with him or something...he was banned (again) right before the men's basketball team made their crazy run to the Big South title last year, and the thought of congratulating Coach Layer on the championship is (my guess) like a stake in the heart to him because he would be congratulating a hire that the guy he hates so much made...PH can give a more detailed explanation behind his continual use of Jeff Meyer

That said I will add an additional Jeff Meyer with said "rule" in mind

While I don´t know Purple´s exact reasons for enacting ¨the rule¨, I think it´s great, and I only wish I had thought of it first. If I HAD thought of it first, this would be MY reason.


Without Jeff Meyer at LU, there never would have been RD at LU. Jeff gave a guy who was a HS coach in Alaska his first job at the college level, and in return was rewarded with what IMHO was something far less than the loyalty he deserved for affording that opportunity.

So basically VUL is going through another train wreck. School should just close up shop and end that embarrassment of an institution. Glad I never contacted that dumpster fire of an excuse for a school about working over there when they added athletics.
