With training camp opening tommorrow it's time to start talking about America's real pastime, hockey!

My team is the Hurricanes, hopefully we are past our growing pains from last season with the rather disappointing production from Jordan Staal(down 15 goals and 4 assists from his last season with the Penguins) and our youth getting the better of us down the stretch. Definitely excited to hopefully see Semin have another good year and see what Faulk and Skinner can do again for us. Sucks Joni Pitkanin is out all season, definitely going to feel that one all year long.

Blue Jackets have actually given me a reason to believe this year. But we'll see...

Im a Red Wings fan (have been since the mid 90s and before that I didnt have an NHL team) and Im hopeful for a better year and another deep playoff run with Jimmy Howard in net

i just hope the flyers don't do anything stupid. (like signing dan cleary)

I expect the Caps to miss the playoffs now that they're in a real division for the first time in the Drunkvechkin era. They were 7-13-1 against playoff teams last regular season and have downgraded at the 2nd center spot with either Grabovski or proven 3rd liner and tire changer Brooks Laich. Hopefully this is the catalyst for firing the most mediocre GM in sports and running some ridiculous primadonnas out of town.
