Former UVa linebacker LaRoy Reynolds and Charlottesville native Mike Brown, a receiver, have both reportedly made the Jacksonville Jaguars final 53-man roster.

I think it was assumed by most in Jacksonville that he would have to work hard to earn another season on the practice squad. He has blown away most expectations from the folks who are following the Jags closely.

I think Mike is finally really healthy, and has regained the explosiveness he had his first 2 years at LU when he played mostly at WR. Remember during and after the WVU game their fans were praising Mike and saying they wish they had him. Rocco didn´t seem to have confidence in his running backs and IMHO really overworked Mike when he was playing QB. As a result, he took a pounding, and was never 100% healthy and as good as he was, he couldn´t make the explosive plays he had been making before.

Mike had 3 catches in the 1st half today against the Broncos. He was lined up on almost every offensive play that I saw.

With almost every Jaguars wide receiver out with injury and a fancy new Quarterback could this be Mike's big year ?!?!?!?!?

They drafted a few WR's and picked up some more in FA. I just hope he makes the roster.

I think he'll make the roster, but he is fighting for his spot.
