A punt return and a kick return in the first half? Wow, someone may be in the unemployment line. Could be worse................................ thinking Elon.

Well... We all know that "Beamer Ball" is all about special teams. Time for Beamer to go. I like the guy... Hopefully he knows when to call it quits.

I definitely think he is holding VA Tech back. Been a great day for the ACC minus this so far

I disagree. Went to a high faluten function and had the situations at VT, UVA and LU highlighted. VT's biggest concerns were WR and RB. They have found their RB. If they had a decent receiver they would be amazing. But they have missed on a lot of recruits. In the words of the speaker 'Weve signed a lot of guys who couldn't play dead in a Western'. It's apparent against Bama. Their D looks solid especially their DB's. Too bad Logan has no one to throw to.

A quarterback would help too. Logan Thomas went 5-26 against Alabama. That's not even a 20% completion rate...

A Head Coach needs to do many things well, in addition to coaching on the field. One is recruit well. Beamer does well in state, but if VT wants to get any better, they will have to bump up the recruiting game. Beamer's not the man.

Which is why he brought in new staff, which is rare for him. They freely admit that they 'missed' on several recruits. That is one of the reasons they are so young at this point. I have a feeling that Beamer is going to give it a ride with these young players and see how it goes before he decides what he is going to do.
