Don't know about the conference but I Love it when the experts are wrong - makes it interesting. Also glad they are not showing the phone calls to the players this year.

If Al Davis was still alive, the Raiders would have picked Leon Sandcastle.
Fun draft already with an OT who was a QB in JUCO and a DE from Ghana who played 1 year of football in the top 5. If ever the Skins were going to not have a 1st rounder, this was the year.

And that's why I watch the NFL Network feed instead.
BTW, tweet of the draft may already be sown up:
Dan Rubenstein @DanRubenstein 3m
Luke Joeckel gets to protect Blaine Gabbert's blind side, which is technically the entire secondary.

Agree. I've always liked NFL network's coverage better.

I'm surprised both Smith and Barkley are on the board. I figured one or both would be gone. I think people will look back at all of the talented pro's taken in the 2nd round this year. It's quite possible that on the whole 2nd round players will be more successful then 1st rounders in this draft

Yeah, I've been hearing that most teams had a board of 5-6 people rated as top 10 talents, another handful rated as 1st rounders, and then something like 80-90 guys having 2nd round grades. Thankfully a ton of that depth is at CB/S so the Redskins should be able to pick up 2-3 guys who can be legit help for their awful secondary.
Oh, and thank you Jerry Jones for ensuring that the Boys will be a laughing stock until you sell.

luckily i only tuned into the last 30 minutes or so of the draft in between watching basketball.
the pats trading away their pick and espn still forcing that segment in was hilarious.

It was awkward and I felt bad for the guy on stage. The should have kept him up there and handed the pick the charities jersey and the other teams jersey

The segment also aired on NFL Network. It had nothing to do with ESPN and was forced by Goodell and his merry band of clueless lackeys.

Who did Matt Barkley tick off?

Every scout that realized his lack of arm strength, poor footwork, and mediocre coverage reading ability were masked by being surrounded by NFL talent on the line and in the receiving corps. That and the recent history of USC QBs in the league is pretty awful. I'll be very surprised if he develops into a starter in the NFL.

Jerry Jones has taken over the scary lunatic role that Al Davis finally ceded.

The Jets took a gamble on Geno Smith, but Geno is no Chad Pennington!

Might be the Geno Smith era for the Jets too. I'm reading they might be cutting Mark Sanchez now. Such a dysfunctional organization...

Because he has TALENT,
I'd love to see the JETS take Dernard Robinson. That would mean their best rushers and pass catchers will be QB's!

It's hard to throw INT's when more than 30% of your completions are behind the line of scrimmage.

I'm so into this now.
Geno at QB
Tebow at FB
Shoelace at RB!

Yeah, but what do you do with the other 3 QBs on their roster?

Who cares! It's the JETS, Let me have my fun! IMO, I think it's too early to give up on McElroy, he's got some talent. Sanchez has no confidence after all these years in NY and would be best for both parties if he went elsewhere. Simms is a joke. Gerard Can tutor Geno.

Does anyone think the signing of Denard Robinson, by Jacksonville, now hurt the future of former LU QB now WR Mike Brown, hope not.
