Jerri Porter, former LU women's bball player and former RU women's bball coach, is leaving George Mason:

That's too bad. Really like her and her Darius Rucker looking hubby. I see her ending up at Gardner Webb.

I saw she was on FB asking for prayer for a big decision. She seemed to be contemplating not coaching anymore. It would be cool if she ends up at Gardner Webb.

I'm not privy to her FB page but it sounds like it was a resign/fire thing.

What about her going back to Radford to be head coach? They just released the coach who replaced her five seasons ago.

Why not? (itd certainly make game weeks a lot more interesting on here when LU and RU got together)

Lord knows, it's not so easy as just reaching out and taking it. A LOT of people want that job. I'm not that interested, nor qualified.
I'd like to see Coach Porter go back. She was a whisker away from overtaking LU as big dog in the Big South before she left for GMU. (Objectively, I still think her team got jobbed in that last final.) In all seriousness, it's a good job for whoever gets it.
