Since we won't be playing any more lets start a new thread.
And what better way then saying #8 seed Robert Morris beat #1 seed Kentucky in the first round of the NIT. First time an NCAA champ lost in the first round of the NIT since 85
St Mary's is a good squad btw. Almost wish I would have made the drive. Both games are/were good.

Yeah, they couldn't have asked for much more for the First Four opening night. I find the NIT bizarre every year. It seems like it's all about getting past the first game for the higher seeds.
You would think Kentucky, who we are told gets the best players in the country every year, would be able to survive losing 1 player.

That's a stupider question than the discussion of the 10-second violation which I still can't believe you guys have figured out I am simply trolling you folks on. Or maybe you guys have and you just don't know when to give it up.
But have your fun now, next year Kentucky is going to make the rest of the field look like a sick joke.

I've never met someone so proud to be a troll. But I guess it's a good way to cover up ignorance and being a Kentucky fan

Nope, I just have fun with it, you guys make it easy. I couldn't even troll this easily if I were an Indiana or a Louisville fan on a Kentucky message board!

For those ill informed that wanted a foul on the last drive to the basket during the. LU game, take a look at this!

They got this one right, but late

I'm not sure calling the grab on the floor would have prevented the rest, but DANG

Just thought i'd remind everyone Mercer beat Tennessee last night. I was travelling with the lacrosse team and we all watched part of the game in the airport. I watched the LU game at the airport as well. had a few of my players come up to me and cheer us on as well. btw. LU now has a giant billboard right smack in the middle of downtown atlanta. the brand is growing fellas.

So far the LU game was the most exciting game of either tournament.

Other than Bucknell, my upset picks are looking good. It would be amazing if all the talk about Gonzaga not deserving to be a 1 seed was validated by them losing this game to Southern.

If you bet on Southern, you probably made some serious scratch. At least it's another good game.

even if they win, they certainly don't look like they deserved it. this southern team is a bunch of scrubs. they are getting a few calls to keep them in this.

They apparently missed a rule. The infamous 'blarge' call was overlooked. Be interesting to see how that's explained

Anybody catch that halftime interview with Pitino? He said he was having to explain to Siva about beating the traps against A&T and was going to go over that at halftime.. I think it's safe to say that they are exceptional at doing it.

Good to see Harvard hold on to the upset on a day where a few of the little guys blew late leads.

I take my comments back about the Big East being the most overrated conference in America. The Mountain West is the biggest fraud of a conference in all of collegiate sports.

But the 2 players involved in the big cheating scandal left the BB team voluntarily. It's why I went with New Mexico!
Sounds like their Quiz Bowl team is coached by a relative of Calipari

They also had 2 co-captains leave the basketball team after cheating. Pretty impressive job by Amaker to coach through that.
